I found a number of drawings of an artist I really like on the web. They are often pretty raw, in every sense of the word, with a rather simple but forceful drawing technique, black ink with some line raster shadows, often with no backgrounds, and not a great portrait artist, judging from those of his drawings where you can make out the face behind gags, hoods and tape. But he has an ingenuity in his rigging and is great at depicting the strain in contorted bodies and the bite of tight cords, straps, cuffs and tape into the flesh. His art and tying is also very sexually focused, with lots of stuffed pussies and mouths, whipped asses, and breasts tied tight (the latter in roughly 70% of the images). So, even if much of his work is brutal hard for my comfort, he still adds many of the elements I enjoy in a way I’ve seen no other artist do, and yes, his art excites and tantalizes me.
I don’t know much about the artist, danlaura or Pat Wilson, except from his style, I’m pretty sure it’s a man, and he seems to have started posting his work on Flickr late 2009 or early 2010. He was a member on DeviantArt from 2007 but didn’t appear to start posting there until 2013-11-06, possibly after running into problems with his content violating the rules on Flickr, and posting on DeviantArt until late 2015, possibly again running into problems with his contents violating the rules. I found what seems to be the last of his public posts on Twitter, where he posted some of his drawings between 2018-10-08 and 2020-04-17. Unfortunately, I didn’t really discover him until after he stopped posting and his posting accounts had been shut down, but there are still bits and pieces of his work spread around the web, which I have tried to collect.
I had the idea to present some of his art here, with some comments and ratings of what I think about it. This will be my very own subjective opinion, and things that I don’t fancy so much may be great to others, and vice versa. I’ll rate according to various categories and also calculate the average rating. This week and next, they’ll fill in for the missing selftie reports, but later, I’m pondering on using them as a kind of warm-up the evening before the selftie sessions. For now, it’s experimental.

I like hoods in general, but this design is probably not what I would spend my money on if shopping. Straps on top of a seemingly rather flimsy base gives me a bit of a untidy impression. What I do like about it is the ingenuity of the inflatable plug in the ring gag, easily replaced by other intruders without requiring further rearrangements, and the combination with the wide collar restricting mobility. What would have made it more to my taste would have been locks on the buckles. I would like to try it on, but it would probably not become one of my favorites.
